Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this is a key role within the UK business responsible for driving commercial and operational excellence across the organisation. The role focuses on pricing strategy, commercial performance, supply chain coordination, and continuous improvement to support sales growth, margin optimisation, and efficient operations.
Define and manage pricing strategy and market positioning across manufactured and third‑party product portfolios.
Review margin performance and SKU profitability, implementing pricing and product mix actions as required.
Execute annual and in-cycle price changes and ensure customer pricing files are accurate.
Partner with Commercial Managers to support pricing decisions aligned to sales and margin targets.
Lead demand planning processes to achieve OTIF delivery and cost efficiency targets.
Manage stock forecasting, inventory control, and product lifecycle considerations including launches and short-dated stock.
Participate in stock and SOP forums, improving forecast accuracy with planning teams.
Manage third‑party suppliers and warehouses to ensure competitive pricing and operational effectiveness.
Develop and manage SOPs for rebates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely customer payments.
Maintain rebate frameworks, contract documentation, and governance across commercial agreements.
Act as gatekeeper for commercial contracts, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and renewal processes.
Reconcile wholesaler rebates and claims, resolving discrepancies and reducing financial leakage.
Own commercial reporting processes, delivering monthly reports on sales, margins, and business performance.
Maintain opportunity tracking, support forecasting updates, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Prepare annual budgets and support reforecasting processes with commercial leaders.
Translate pricing, rebate, and market trends into accurate financial forecasts.
Lead demand planning activities across UK operations, ensuring alignment between supply and commercial demand.
Manage logistics coordination and ensure shipping compliance and documentation accuracy.
Provide customers with regular sales data and reporting in line with agreed requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across commercial operations, including automation and reporting efficiency.
Support implementation of data, reporting, and BI solutions to enhance decision-making capabilities.
Manage and develop relationships with wholesalers and external stakeholders to maximise commercial outcomes.
