Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Hair Stylist to operate independently within our salon environment. As a self-employed professional, you will provide a range of hair and beauty services, including styling, colouring, and cutting. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build your own client base while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a flair for creativity, and experience in various beauty treatments. You will be responsible for managing your appointments, maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism, and upselling additional services to maximise client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling, colouring, and treatment services tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide specialised beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
- Manage your own appointment schedule efficiently to optimise client flow.
- Offer excellent customer service to ensure repeat business and positive client experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties when required, including greeting clients and managing bookings.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices if applicable, sharing expertise in barbering or store management.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hairdressing through ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing, barbering, or related services.
- Strong store management skills to organise appointments and maintain client records effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Outstanding communication skills to engage with clients confidently and professionally.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
