A successful wholesale and distribution organisation in St. Helens have asked us to support them in their search for a strong AAT Level 4 qualified Accounts Assistant. This role provides the opportunity for someone to cover the sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and assist with month end duties.
Duties:

Validate and process all sales and purchase invoices.

To post entries to the company's accounting system (SAGE50) including Sales, Purchases, Bank Transactions and Journals.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve any discrepancies on hours or expense claims.

Reconcile credit card account.

Reconcile bank accounts on Sage.

To maintain the fixed asset register.

Process and validate staff expenses.

Review the purchase order log on a weekly basis.

To assist in other areas of the Finance when required.

To ensure the company maintains sound financial systems and keeps accurate records of all income and expenditure.
Required:
-
Experience in both Purchase and Sales ledger.
- AAT Level 4 qualified / studying towards.
