Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager/ Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to oversee and manage contractual and financial aspects of construction projects for our well established Building Contractor client.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost control, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering projects within budget and on time. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of contractual procedures and financial management within the construction industry.

Duties
- Develop, review, and negotiate contract terms to ensure clarity and compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, implementing effective cost control measures to prevent overruns.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify contractual obligations are met, and identify potential issues early.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual disputes or variations efficiently.
- Prepare detailed reports on project financials, highlighting areas of concern or potential savings opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies during all project phases.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating tenders and managing contractual amendments as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in cost control techniques and financial management of large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of contractual law, procurement procedures, and industry standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
