We are currently seeking a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school based in SE27.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong SEN practitioner looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support students with SEMH needs, helping them achieve both academically and emotionally
- Create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
- Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, engagement, and progress
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
