Job Summary

Duties

- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive working environment.
- Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement development plans.
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Organise schedules, manage time effectively, and ensure staffing levels meet business needs.
- Maintain administrative records accurately, including sales reports, attendance logs, and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in retail management, sales management or similar roles.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Experience in merchandising and visual presentation strategies.
- Demonstrable management skills including team supervision and conflict resolution.
- Effective communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Background in managing administrative tasks such as reporting, scheduling, and stock control.
- Previous experience in customer service environments with strong phone etiquette is preferred.
