Job Purpose
To maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across designated site areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and emptying waste bins across offices, communal areas, and facilities.
- Deep Cleaning: Sanitising high-touch surfaces, toilets, washrooms, and kitchen/canteen areas.
- Stock & Supplies: Monitoring and restocking consumables (e.g., soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) and reporting low stock to the supervisor.
- Health & Safety: Operating equipment safely and using cleaning chemicals correctly in accordance with COSHH regulations and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Site Security: Ensuring doors and windows are securely locked if working outside of standard operational hours.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Scunthorpe DN15 6TA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- cleaning: 1 year (required)
