Materials Stock Controller
Rocal Group are excited to share an opportunity to join our Purchasing team as a Materials Stock Controller.
In this role you will be working alongside key stakeholders, ensuring we deliver a world-class service to our customers through strong delivery performance.
You will play an essential role in maintaining control of financial flows and inventory levels, establishing a smooth process for production and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking in goods into the Inventory Management System
- Leading and undertaking daily perpetual counts
- Investigating any stock discrepancies as a result of the perpetual counts, undertaking root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Daily reporting to communicate any stock changes to Material Planners
- Undertaking stock counts for extrusions foils and the administration of the Extrusions stock system
- Working with the Material Planners to identify the appropriate stock levels of individual SKUs
- Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to incrementally improve the functionality and accuracy of the inventory management system
- Playing a key role in the preparation, administration and execution of the half-yearly business wide stock counts
What You Bring
- A continuous improvement and process-oriented mind set
- Autonomous working, used to adhering to tight deadlines and able to prioritise workload under pressure through risk management
- Highly methodical with an ability to control and manage detailed tasks on a regular basis
- Experience in Excel and MRP stock systems
- Strong problem-solving ability
- A highly motivated, driven and practical individual who can work both individually and as part of a team
- Thorough attention to detail
- A conscientious hard-working individual who works well under pressure

Salary, Benefits, and Hours
- Annual salary up to £30,000 dependent on experience
- 40 hours per week (flexible - to be discussed at interview)
