About the role
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead BOH operations at one of our TGI Fridays restaurants. Reporting to the General Manager, you will have full accountability for kitchen performance, compliance, food quality, and team development.
This is a hands‑on leadership role in a high‑volume environment, combining strong operational control with the ability to deliver consistent food execution and a safe, efficient kitchen.
Key responsibilitiesOperational leadership
- Own all kitchen operations, protecting food quality, safety, and brand standards
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, audits, due diligence and all BOH policies
- Maintain high levels of kitchen readiness, cleanliness, and operational execution
People leadership
- Lead, coach and develop the kitchen team
- Build a people‑first culture that supports engagement, retention and performance
- Act as a cultural ambassador for TGI Fridays
Commercial & financial management
- Deliver labour control, stock, waste and budget targets
- Use forecasting, reporting and performance data to drive results
- Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency and commercial performance
Guest experience
- Champion a guest‑obsessed culture through consistent food quality and speed
- Ensure the “Showtime” guest journey is supported through BOH excellence
Candidate requirementsExperience & capability (must have)
- Solid experience in a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef or senior BOH leadership role
- Strong financial management skills, including audits and due diligence
- Proven ability to lead teams to success in a high‑volume environment
- Full understanding of kitchen operations and delivering consistent food quality
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
