We are looking for an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our growing team at .
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional grooming experience and be confident grooming a wide range of breeds, coat types, and temperaments. We are seeking someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare and customer care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year professional dog grooming experience
- Recognised grooming qualifications or a strong grooming portfolio
- Confident grooming all breeds and handling different behaviours and temperaments
- Excellent animal handling skills and genuine love for dogs
- Strong client communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with good time management
- High standards of cleanliness, safety, and care
Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality grooming services including bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring, handstripping, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. Some cats are involved too.
- Assess coat and skin condition and communicate findings with clients
- Handle dogs safely, calmly, and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organised grooming environment
- Build positive relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
