Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties
- Lead and supervise the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Organise and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and merchandising plans to optimise revenue
- Maintain stock levels through inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports to inform business decisions
- Promote a positive shopping experience by maintaining a clean, organised, and attractive store environment
- Collaborate with head office on marketing initiatives and promotional activities
Requirements
- Proven management experience within retail or similar environments, with supervising or team management responsibilities
- Strong leadership qualities coupled with excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative duties
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in using retail management software and basic administrative tools
- Excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills for handling customer interactions professionally
- Management qualification or relevant industry experience is preferred but not essential
- A proactive attitude with the ability to motivate others and foster a collaborative team environment
Pay: £37,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
