About us
Yorkshire Burrito is exactly what it sounds like — big British roast dinner energy, wrapped in a giant Yorkshire pudding, covered in gravy, and served to hungry people who usually leave saying, “I didn’t know I needed that.”
We’re a fast-growing street food brand with sites across the UK, delivery, events and a production kitchen behind the scenes. We’re not a quiet little shop. We’re busy, bold, a bit chaotic in the best way, and obsessed with great food, great service and keeping standards tight.
We’re looking for a Site Manager who can run one of our locations like it’s their own — leading the team, keeping the food flying out, making customers smile, and making sure the site is clean, sharp, stocked and performing.
The role
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of your Yorkshire Burrito site. That means leading your team on shift, making sure service is fast and friendly, keeping standards high, managing stock and waste, and hitting the commercial basics that make the site work.
You’ll be the person who knows what’s going on: who’s on shift, what stock is low, what needs fixing, what the team needs, and how the site is trading.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be serving customers, building burritos, sorting gravy, solving problems, managing the team and keeping the energy up.
What you’ll be doing
Running the shift
- Open and close the site properly, following company procedures.
- Make sure the site is ready for service: clean, stocked, prepped and looking good.
- Lead the team during busy periods and keep service moving.
- Keep food quality, speed and presentation consistent.
- Handle customer issues calmly and professionally.
Leading the team
- Create a positive, organised and fun working environment.
- Train new starters and help the team follow the right standards.
- Set clear expectations before and during each shift.
- Give practical feedback when something needs improving.
- Help build a strong, reliable team that takes pride in the site.
Food, stock and standards
- Make sure products are prepared, stored and served correctly.
- Keep an eye on stock levels, waste, dates and ordering needs.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene.
- Complete daily checks, logs and any required site admin.
- Make sure the site follows company policies and procedures.
Sales and performance
- Drive sales through great service, speed and upselling.
- Keep an eye on labour, waste, GP and site performance.
- Support promotions, new menu items and delivery platform activity.
- Help the team understand targets and what good performance looks like.
- Spot opportunities to make the site better.
Cash, tills and systems
- Make sure transactions are processed correctly.
- Follow cash handling and till procedures.
- Report issues, discrepancies or maintenance problems quickly.
- Use rota, clock-in and company systems properly.
About you
You don’t need to be a Michelin chef (but you can still apply if you are). You do need to be organised, reliable, good with people, and happy working in a fast-paced food environment.
You’ll be a good fit if you are:
- Confident leading a small team.
- Calm under pressure.
- Great with customers.
- Hands-on and happy to jump in wherever needed.
- Organised with stock, prep and cleaning.
- Commercially aware — you understand sales, labour and waste matter.
- Good at communicating clearly.
- Positive, practical and solutions-focused.
- Proud of high standards, even when it’s busy.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.
Previous experience as a supervisor, team leader, assistant manager, kitchen lead, street food manager or QSR manager would be ideal.
What we offer
- A fun, fast-growing food brand with proper personality.
- Real responsibility from day one.
- Staff food/discount.
- Training and support.
- Progression opportunities as we grow.
- A team that actually cares about the food, the brand and doing things properly.
- The chance to say you manage a place that sells roast dinners wrapped in Yorkshire puddings — which is objectively brilliant.
The person we’re looking for
