We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a client based in Immingham. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekend working.
What We're Looking For
TYPE OF WORK: CURTAIN SIDERS
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- A maximum of 6 penalty points
- A minimum of 24 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good geographical knowledge and route-planning ability
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A professional and safety-focused approach to driving
Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating curtain-sided vehicles safely and efficiently
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring full compliance with tachograph, driver hours, and road transport regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle
- Completing all required legal and customer documentation accurately
- Representing the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public
