Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site tyre fitting services, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy. This role involves working directly with customers, performing tyre replacements, repairs, and maintenance at various locations. The ideal applicant will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting safely. This is a paid position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment. Additional earning potential via out of hours call-outs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site tyre fitting, repair, and replacement services for a variety of vehicles.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to remove and fit tyres accurately.
- Inspect tyres for damage or wear and advise customers on suitable solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks related to tyre care and vehicle safety checks.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures clearly and professionally.
- Assist with vehicle movement and positioning as required during the fitting process.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and work area after each job.
- Out of Hours Call Out Work on rota bases
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge of tyres, vehicles, and basic automotive systems.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tyres or equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driving licence is desirable as the role involves travel between locations.
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
