We are looking to appoint a Store Person/Art Technician
Key responsibilities:
· Maintaining the stores on site
· Loading and unloading works for transport and storage
· Vehicle Maintenance
· Building, Grounds and Yard Maintenance
· Art handling, packing, installation, for paintings, sculptures, prints, public sculpture.
and glass and ceramic works.
· Work with the Storage Coordinator to keep the database and inventory updated.
Requirements
· Clean full driving license – driving will be required.
· Experience driving a Sprinter or Luton vehicle.
· Observation of health & safety issues surrounding manual handling.
· Cleanliness, attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
· Ability to work in a calm manner.
· Outgoing, friendly and helpful attitude, with an ability to work flexibly and independently, as well as part of a team.
· Willingness to participate in ongoing training regardless of level.
· Training to enhance technical skills will be given including technical workshops.
· Folk Lift Truck Licence desirable
· Hold a valid British or EU Passport.
· An interest and knowledge of Art would be advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time – 36 hours per week flexitime.
Pay – negotiable depending on experience
