We have two Forest Craftsperson vacancies available in our Central region, both based out of Glenbranter on a permanent basis.
As a Forest Craftsperson, you’ll carry out practical forest management and estate maintenance tasks including tree felling, fencing, planting, weed control, and maintenance of footpaths, signage, and visitor facilities management. You’ll also support colleagues across harvesting, environment, and wildlife management teams when required, helping deliver materials, repair infrastructure, and maintain key sites. This role is hands-on, varied, and predominantly outdoors, requiring strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safe working practices.
Our Land Management teams are responsible for delivering a wide range of forestry and environmental work — from planting and maintaining forests, to habitat restoration, peatland management, and supporting high-quality visitor facilities. The work we do contributes directly to Scotland’s climate and biodiversity goals, while helping maintain safe, welcoming spaces for local communities and visitors.
To be successful, you’ll need experience of working outdoors in environments such as forestry, construction, or landscaping, as well as an understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
