As a Mortgage & Secured Loan Advisor you will be expected to be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of mortgage lenders and criteria. You will be required to gather information about a customer’s financial circumstances in order to give appropriate advice.
Responsibilities:
· Provide advice for mortgages & secured loans
· Maximise cross-selling opportunities for other products within the group
· Ensure your diary is kept up-to-date and call backs are contacted efficiently to maximise productivity
· Understanding of MCOB, FCA regulations and guidelines
· Understanding and implementation of compliance requirements
· Knowledge of how to deal with aspects such as debt consolidation
Requirement:
· Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practise (CeMAP) is essential
Expectations:
· Demonstrate a proven track record of hitting targets
· 1 years’ experience working in the mortgage industry as an advisor
· Self-motivated and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
· Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Excellent attention to detail and pro-active thought process
