Lochcarron of Scotland is a leading designer and manufacturer of tartan fabric and products, based in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders.
About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Cloth Cutter to join our busy warehouse team at our factory in Selkirk. Our Cloth Cutters are responsible for the preparation, inspection, and packing of Lochcarron cloth within the Warehouse Team.
Duties will include:
- Selecting, inspecting and cutting fabric orders accurately, to the correct length and size.
- Booking in/out, lifting and wrapping cloth bales.
- Working closely with the other cloth cutters in the team and assisting each other when necessary.
- Ensure completed work is accurate and to the appropriate quality standard.
No experience is required for this role as full training will be given, but an eye for detail would be an advantage.
This is a full time, permanent role, 39 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday (finish at 1pm).
