About the role
We are a fast moving and growing omni-channel ecommerce business specialising in wines, beer, spirits and household grocery items. We operate across a number of marketplaces including but not limited to Amazon, Ebay, Temu, Tesco as well as several of our own shopify stores
We're looking for a proactive and digitally minded Ecommerce Assistant to join our team and help us grow across multiple online sales channels. You'll play a central role in managing our marketplace and Shopify presence — from creating high-quality product listings to supporting customers and contributing to our digital marketing activity.
This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of our ecommerce operation. You'll work with modern AI tools — including Claude — to produce and optimise listings efficiently, giving you the opportunity to develop real expertise in the latest technologies shaping the industry.
What you'll be doing
Creating, optimising and managing product listings across Amazon, eBay, Temu, Mirakl-based marketplaces and other platforms, using AI tools to work efficiently at scale
Managing and updating our Shopify channels, ensuring product content, inventory and promotions are accurate and up to date
Monitoring marketplace performance, flagging issues and identifying opportunities to improve visibility and conversion
Supporting digital marketing activity including email campaigns, social content and promotional planning
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues across marketplaces and Shopify in a professional and timely manner
Keeping up with platform policy changes, marketplace requirements and best practice across all channels
Collaborating with colleagues across purchasing, warehouse and marketing to coordinate stock and content needs
What we're looking for
Experience working in an ecommerce, retail or online marketplace environment — experience with Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Mirakl or Shopify is a strong advantage but most systems can be self taught by someone with a technically minded outlook
A confident, curious approach to technology — willingness to learn and use AI tools as part of your daily workflow
Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy in product content
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
A customer-first mindset and professional approach when handling queries and complaints
A team player who is comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment
Pay: £24,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Free parking
- On-site parking
Work Location: In person
