Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Barber to join our dynamic team. We are a small chain of unisex hairdressers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service & barbering, with excellent communication skills and fluency in English. This role is suitable for a talented Barber and must ensure clients receive exceptional service in a welcoming environment. The Senior Hairdresser will play a key part in maintaining the salon’s reputation for quality and professionalism.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality hair styling, cutting, barbering, and grooming services to clients.
- Provide expert barbering services, including traditional and contemporary styles.
- Offer personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable treatments.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a positive salon atmosphere.
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing expertise to enhance their skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products within the hairdressing industry.
- Manage walk in clients efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in barbering at a senior level.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior staff effectively.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering recognised within the industry.
- A professional attitude with attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work during salon hours, including evenings and weekends if required.

Pay: £31,200.00-£46,000.00 per year
