We're looking for a professional, customer-focused Class 2 Driver to join our growing team. This is far more than a standard A-to-B driving role. You'll be delivering high-value and sensitive goods, representing our company at customer sites, and playing a key role in providing exceptional service.

The Role
As an Intercity Logistics Driver, you'll operate a variety of vehicles to meet our clients' needs, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, securely, and professionally.
This is a hands-on role involving:
- Multi-drop deliveries of high-value goods
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Pallet, trolley, and tail-lift deliveries
- Using pump trucks and specialist equipment
- Deliveries requiring stair-walker equipment (training provided)
- Unpacking, placement, and removal of packaging when requested
- Maintaining the security and integrity of goods throughout transit
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery point
What We're Looking For Essential
- Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience
- Flexibility to drive any vehicle.
- Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English
- Reliable, flexible, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to safety and compliance
Desirable
- Good geographical knowledge
- Experience using handheld devices (PDA)
- Tail-lift experience
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to undergo DBS/CRB checks and Security Clearance
- Completion of company training and FORS e-learning modules within the first three months
- Understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance, and legal compliance
- Commitment to safe driving standards and telematics monitoring
