About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Internal Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role involves supporting new and existing customers, managing enquiries, preparing quotations, helping drive sales growth & working alongside the Commercial Sales Manager.
You will be a key point of contact for customers, providing professional service while supporting the wider sales team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact new, existing and dormant customers
- Prepare and follow up customer quotations
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Support the external sales team with administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate customer and pricing records
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally
- Assist with general office administration and reporting
- Work collaboratively to achieve sales and service targets
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in internal sales, customer service or sales administration preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/order processing systems
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within industrial, engineering or distribution sectors is advantageous but not essential
