Overview We are a growing used-car dealership with an in-house workshop. We need a competent, efficient technician who can diagnose, repair, and prepare a wide range of vehicles quickly and to a high standard. This is not a slow environment — you will work across many makes and models daily.
Key Responsibilities Full diagnostics using modern tools (Launch, Snap-On, OBD etc.) Servicing, clutches, timing belts/chains, general repairs MOT preparation (not testing) Identifying mechanical issues on newly purchased stock Completion of job cards and reporting faults accurately Ensuring all repairs are carried out safely and correctly Occasional support with moving vehicles, parts runs, or workshop setup tasks
Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic/vehicle technician Strong diagnostic ability across multiple brands Able to work independently without supervision Fast, organised, and able to prioritise work Good English and clear communication Full UK driving licence
