Join our friendly and supportive team. We are seeking a full-time Care Support Worker/Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a young adult with Cerebral Palsy.
About the Role
- Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, daily activities, and social engagement
- Assist with planning and organising activities, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach
- Work within a unique, relaxed care setting that values both the individual being supported and the staff team
About the Individual
- An energetic and enthusiastic young adult who enjoys a wide range of activities both at home and in the community
- Requires physical support and additional emotional and behavioural support throughout the day
Requirements
- Flexibility to work a planned monthly rota, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
- Willingness to support activities such as swimming and animal care
- Work a rotation of 24-hour, 15-hour, and 12-hour shifts
- Willingness to provide cover during staff holidays to ensure continuity of care
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
Experience
Experience supporting individuals with complex emotional and behavioural needs is desirable and will strengthen your application.

Contract
- Permanent position
- 39 hours per week (averaged over six weeks)
Pay
- £17.00 per hour during probation
- £17.50 per hour after successful probation
- £18.00 per hour after 12 months
- £19.00 per hour after 24 months
- Night rate: £13.00 per hour
- On-Call £50 per 24 hour
