Sales Executive | Compressed Air & Pneumatic Systems
Location: Bangor, Northern Ireland (field-based across NI)
Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 Base DOE + 10% Commission on Profit of All Sales + Company Vehicle
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
The Role
Our client, a well-established engineering business based in Bangor, is seeking an ambitious and technically minded Sales Executive to join their growing team.
This is a field-based role involving travel across Northern Ireland, managing the full sales cycle from warm inbound enquiries to developing new business opportunities within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert warm inbound leads into long-term service and equipment contracts
- Develop new business opportunities across industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Conduct client site visits throughout Northern Ireland to assess technical requirements
- Recommend bespoke compressed air and pneumatic solutions
- Sell a premium range of:
- Air Compressors
- Compressed Air Dryers
- Gas Generators
- Pneumatic Control Systems & Equipment
- Manage and develop your own sales pipeline
- Build strong long-term client relationships
- Achieve sales targets and maximise commission earnings
Candidate Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience within engineering, industrial, pneumatic, or technical sectors
- Experience and understanding of pneumatic controls and associated systems
- Strong technical aptitude with industrial equipment and mechanical systems
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable travelling extensively across Northern Ireland
Desirable
- Mechanical engineering background or related technical qualification
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and sales activity
- Knowledge of compressed air systems, gas generators, or vacuum systems
