Summary
We are looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.
The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report..
Key Responsibilities
1) Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
2) Obtains help by sounding alarms.
3) Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
4) Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence.
5) Provide excellent customer service.
6) Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity
7) Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
8) Liaising with the police and store management when required.
9) Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
10) Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
11) Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
12) Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.
13) Monitoring the store CCTV
14) Comply with Health & Safety, Fire regulations and other company policies.
Required Experience
1) Frontline Security Guarding, or relevant position. Current SIA licence essential.
2) A full five-year checkable employment / education history,
3) Experience of delivering Customer Service
4) Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal
Desirable Skills/ Career Experience
1) Previous experience in a similar role/environment.
2) Surveillance skills and detail orientation
3) Current First Aid at work certificate.

Pay: £8.00-£12.21 per hour
