MIG Welder / Fabricator - Night Shift

Pay Rate: Up to £24.00 per hour (Night Shift)
Our client is looking for an experienced MIG Welder / Fully Skilled Fabricator to join their expanding team based in Loughborough, commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Coalville and surrounding areas

Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Fabrication Manager, you will be responsible for:
- MIG welding mild steel up to 20mm thickness
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Welding in all positions, including overhead
- Fabricating components to a high standard
- Working independently and as part of a busy fabrication team
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
- The ability to weld in all positions, including overhead
- Apprenticeship-trained fabrication skills or equivalent experience
- The ability to accurately read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience working with mid to heavy gauge mild steel
- A minimum of 3 years' industry experience in welding and fabrication
- The ability to work on their own initiative and manage varied workloads
