Paint Contracts Supervisor – Yorkshire Branch, Bell

Are you a natural leader with a strong paint background and a passion for delivering high-quality property maintenance? Bell’s Yorkshire branch is looking for a Contracts Supervisor to help drive performance, ensure compliance, and lead our dedicated painting team across a diverse portfolio of sites.
Your Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As a Contracts Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—overseeing daily maintenance, ensuring our contracts are running efficiently, and making sure our teams consistently deliver high service standards.
- Lead the planning and allocation of daily maintenance tasks across regional sites
- Manage and deliver painting projects
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety and company standards
- Provide support and coaching to the team, including toolbox talks and training briefs
- Carry out quality assurance checks, review team paperwork, and support audit readiness
- Act as a key liaison between site teams, clients, and senior management
- Support out-of-hours operations when required
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and technically competent professional with a strong grasp of facilities maintenance. Ideally, you’ll have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Painting qualification
- SSSTS
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 10 years commercial painting experience
- A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and administrative/reporting skills
- Confidence in liaising with clients and coordinating access to sensitive/restricted areas
- A genuine commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- SMSTS (desirable)
- 3 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role role (desirable)
