We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our growing engineering team at our modern, state-of-the-art facility in Barham, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a small, dedicated team specialising in the repair and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic cylinder components. The role offers varied and interesting work, with jobs ranging from one-off bespoke repairs to small production runs — meaning no two days are the same.
Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and manufacture hydraulic cylinders and components
- Strip, assess, and rebuild hydraulic equipment
- Operate workshop machinery and engineering equipment
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Work effectively within a small engineering team
Requirements
- Previous fitting or engineering experience essential
- Hydraulic cylinder experience preferred
- Good mechanical knowledge and practical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems
