About the Role
As a Heating Service & Repair Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing domestic heating systems for our valued customers. You’ll work as part of an on-call rota, ensuring reliable and responsive support. Keeping job updates on our company portal and maintaining a structured diary will be crucial to your success. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll be working across different contracts as operational requirements evolve.
Above all, you’ll consistently uphold gas safety, health & safety standards, and company policies, delivering exceptional service with professionalism and pride.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair a variety of domestic heating systems
- Participate in on-call rotas to support customers out-of-hours
- Maintain accurate job records using the company portal
- Follow a structured work diary to manage workloads efficiently
- Adapt to evolving contracts and operational requirements
- Ensure full compliance with gas safety and health & safety regulations
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a professional, approachable manner
Required Skills & Experience
- ACS qualifications (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
- Minimum 1 year of experience with gas central heating systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Friendly, professional communication and customer service skills
