Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This position is located in a brand new building at 3 Fleet Street Brighton located at the rear of Brighton Station. The hours are Monday to Friday 5.30pm to 7.30pm . 10 hours per week @£12.71 per hour. In the first instance call Simon at Avanti on 07760628507 for further information.

Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks across multiple commercial premises, including offices and communal areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces as required.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll to ensure facilities are well-equipped.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the relevant management team.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work environment to facilitate efficient cleaning processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light loads.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, with an emphasis on maintaining consistent attendance.
