Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the head chef in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and presentation meet the restaurant’s specifications
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Support in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices as required
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
- Previous experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment
- A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential
