Do you take pride in keeping your community clean and safe? We’re looking for a dedicated Street Cleansing Chargehand to lead a team delivering high-quality cleaning services across our streets and public areas.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team carrying out street cleansing duties
- Oversee tasks such as litter picking, sweeping, emptying bins and maintaining public areas
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Operate cleansing vehicles, plant and equipment
- Act as a key on-site contact, helping organise daily work and respond to issues
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in street cleansing, environmental services or similar work
- Ability to supervise or guide a small team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Commitment to health & safety
- Positive attitude and pride in improving the local environment
