We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Oversee the daily operations of designated kitchen sections, ensuring smooth workflow during service
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
- Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as necessary
- Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and stock levels are managed efficiently
- Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to deliver an outstanding dining experience
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and fully equipped for efficient operation during service periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in hospitality settings
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
