John Mulholland Motors seeks to recruit a Valeter / Vehicle Preparation Specialist to join our long established cleaning team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for meticulous attention to detail.
Job Description
Duties will include:
- Cleaning and preparing new and used vehicles for retail presentation and delivery to customers
- Checking car deliveries in, identifying any abnormalities or damage and reporting to management in a timely manner
- Attending to minor blemishes and imperfections on vehicles both externally and internally using specified materials solvents and equipment
- To uphold display standards of cars on site both inside and outside the showroom
- To deliver or collect vehicles and undertake sundry errands to include trips to MOT centres or product placement for example
- To enhance the reputation of the dealership at every opportunity when interacting with others
Personal Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have experience in a commercial car cleaning environment, preferably showroom
- Have meticulous attention to detail
- Have experience in the use of machine polishing
- Have the ability to work in an ever-changing environment and display a willingness to help and contribute to a team environment
- Be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Have excellent time keeping
- Hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Work within Health and Safety Guidelines
Working hours: 08:30-17:00, flexibility can be considered. Weekend work available. Other duties such as attending off site displays may also be required.
