Established for over 25 years, KLS Law is a niche Law firm, committed to achieving and providing a first-rate legal service. We specialise in Clinical Negligence, Insurance Litigation, Professional Negligence, Casualty, Property and Personal Injury claims. Our head office is based Warrington, Cheshire with excellent links to the M56 and M62 and close to both Warrington Bank Quay and Warrington Central train stations.
We have a second office in Farrington in the City of London and the businesses services insurers in the London market from both offices.
Due to the development and expansion of one of our teams, we are now looking to appoint a Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive to join our team to advise our corporate clients on claims of all values and complexity. You will be expected to deal with defendant litigation, including health injury and motor. Managing your own case load, you will deal with pre-litigated and litigated cases and assist Partners on more complex claims as required. You should have the ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically with a minimum of 3 years’ experience PQE.
Key Skills
- Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive
- Proven experience handling Casualty & Property Claims
- Understanding of ELTO & Portal EL/PL however training can be provided
- Understanding of the Subrogation process
- Experience in Regulatory Healthcare claims, training can be provided.
- Experience dealing with large insurer clients.
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- High standard of verbal and written communication
- Excellent Organisation and time-management skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts with a willingness to share knowledge with and support and oversee other team members
- Initiative to overcome issues and implement solutions
- ProClaim experience
Main Responsibilities
- Effectively running files to ensure deadlines are met and cases managed proactively to conclusion
- Ensure work is carried out effectively to meet the needs of the clients and the commercial requirements of the firm
- Achievement of key business and financial objectives
- Prompt billing
- Devising a clear case strategy, ensuring that cases are run smoothly whilst balancing the commercial interests of both the firm and client
- Contribute to business development and client relationships as directed by the Managing Director or Senior Partners

Salary for this role is dependent on experience.
