We are a leading supplier of Quartz kitchen worktops, dedicated to providing a good quality product and service. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our office team to manage the quoting and ordering processes for retail and commercial customers .
The Role
This is an office-based position where you will quote and process the orders. Your primary focus will be providing accurate quotes and ensuring every order is typed and processed with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Quoting: Prepare accurate quotes from customer-provided plans, drawings, and measurements .
- Order Processing: Accurately input customer orders ensuring all technical specifications are included.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers (trade and retail) via phone and email to clarify details and provide updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in an office-based estimating or sales administration role is essential. Knowledge of the kitchen or stone industry would be an advantage
- Numerical Skills: A good knowledge of working with measurements (mm/m²) and calculating costs is required .
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting errors in the plans or order forms is critical to avoid costly manufacturing mistakes.
- IT Literate: Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required and experience with SAGE would be an advantage
- Professionalism: A polite, professional phone manner and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is a key aspect of the role
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 08.30 a.m. – 17.00 p.m. Friday 8.30 a.m.- 16.00 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
