Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or cleaning services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Adhere to company cleaning policies and expectations at all times.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities in guest rooms.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazzards along with stock taking requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- All shifts are between the hours of 9am - 3pm.
- Weekend flexibility is required
- Time management skills
