Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Loading Shovel Operator to join our team . The successful candidate will be responsible for operating tractors and other heavy machinery to assist in various agricultural, construction, or landscaping tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to perform tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate tractors and related equipment for tasks such as digging, ploughing, and transporting materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment in various environments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in digging techniques and the operation of various attachments for tractors.
- Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for operating larger vehicles or transporting machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
