Teaching Assistant – Primary School

A primary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children in their education and helping them achieve their full potential.
The school is looking for an individual with relevant experience working with children, either within an educational setting or a similar environment. While a Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, it is not essential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils throughout the school day to enhance their learning and development
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce classroom learning
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil engagement
- Providing additional support to children who may require extra assistance
- Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children in a relevant setting
- A positive, patient, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
- A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
