KS2 Teacher – Bexleyheath
Tempest Education is working in partnership with a well-established mainstream Primary School in Bexleyheath that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of pupils in Years 3–6.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and support attainment.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and maintaining clear communication regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Support pupils in developing independence, resilience, and confidence as they prepare for the transition to secondary education.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to meet the needs of all learners.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND within a school setting is desirable.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping KS2 pupils succeed both academically and personally.
