Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our team in Coventry. This role is vital in delivering high-quality meal services that support our mission of promoting healthy eating habits among children. You will play a key part in ensuring our clients receive delicious and nutritious meals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals following EYFS guidelines.
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly adhered to.
- Oversee the main production kitchen operations producing high volumes of individual recipe meals in Bratt Pans and Combi Ovens.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with team members to improve menu offerings.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Contribute to creating a positive environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a commercial or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Culinary qualifications are a plus.
- Experience with menu planning is desirable but not essential.
