Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation and service of food at our staff restaurant, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items in accordance with health and safety standards
- Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas throughout shifts
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment to ensure supplies are available for upcoming events
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Organised with strong attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
