JYard Operative
Our client, a well-established and busy skip hire company, is looking to recruit a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to join their team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced yard environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and is happy to get stuck in without needing constant supervision.
The Role
- Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Sorting and moving materials as required
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of skips
- Carrying out general yard duties and housekeeping
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Someone who is dependable, punctual, and takes responsibility for their work
- Ability to work independently and use initiative when required
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous experience in a yard, waste management, recycling, construction, or industrial environment would be advantageous
