Daily Rate: £108–£117 per day

We are seeking resilient and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEMH school in Croydon. The provision supports students who face barriers to learning due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, trauma, anxiety, attachment difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
This role would suit candidates who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and helping them achieve positive educational outcomes. You will play a key role in promoting engagement, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour while helping students develop confidence and self-esteem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing classroom and pastoral support
- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and engagement
- Helping students overcome barriers to learning
- Building trusting and consistent relationships
Requirements:
- Experience in education, mentoring, youth work, sports coaching, or care settings is beneficial
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
