Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of static caravans.
This role requires hands-on expertise in carpentry, electrical work, and general upkeep to ensure our caravans are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and experience working with various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
Salary based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on static caravans to identify repair needs
- Perform repairs related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components
- Use tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately
- Replace or repair damaged panels, fixtures, wiring, and appliances as needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Assist with the installation of new caravan units or upgrades when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the static caravan industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely with various tools and equipment in different environments
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and working at heights if necessary
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
