Despatch Shift Supervisor
Location: Cambourne
Salary up to £37,200
We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Shift Supervisor to join a well established print manufacturer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor, team leader or senior warehouse/despatch professional looking to take ownership of a busy night shift operation. You will be responsible for helping to ensure products are packed, organised and shipped safely, accurately and on time, whilst supporting and developing the wider team.
Shift Pattern
- Permanent Nights
- Sunday night to Friday morning
- 22:00 - 06:00
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the day to day running of the despatch department
- Allocating workloads and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting, training and developing team members
- Monitoring quality, productivity and departmental performance
- Assisting with stock control and warehouse organisation
- Ensuring products are packed and dispatched accurately and on time
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the department
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or senior despatch/warehouse role
- Experience within manufacturing, production, print, logistics or warehousing environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience managing workloads and leading teams
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to drive due to the location of the site
- A proactive attitude and willingness to lead from the front
