Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant – Wrexham
Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Wrexham.

The Role
As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Encourage pupil participation, independence, and personal development.
- Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Help create a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and other professionals to support pupil progress.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Previous experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs is advantageous but not essential.
- A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
