We are excited to announce that Potters Cross Pre-School & Playgroup are recruiting a part-time Early Years Practitioner to work in our safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, caring for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.
The ideal candidate will be a professional, warm, hardworking and dedicated person, with a passion for early childhood development and supporting children to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
· A full and relevant level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification. (essential)
· Ideally the candidate will already be on the DBS update service. If not, a full DBS application is required.
· A positive attitude and genuine passion for children and early childhood education.
· Confident communication skills with children and adults.
· The ability to work as part of a team and team spirit.
· It would be preferable to have experience implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to a high standard.
Main Responsibilities:
· To provide a safe and secure environment for the children with an awareness of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to the welfare of children.Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework to support children’s learning and development.

· To be a ‘Key Person’ for a group of children, supporting each child’s individual needs and celebrating their achievements.
· Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and the local community.
· To work as part of a team with shared responsibilities
