We are seeking a compassionate Night Health Care Assistant to join our team at Lett's Care Ltd in the Canterbury area. This vital role involves providing quality care to our residents and clients during night shifts, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while supporting our mission of compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and respectful care to residents during night hours, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist with personal hygiene, medication administration, and mobility support as needed.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report any concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Follow care plans accurately to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care.
- Document all relevant observations and actions clearly and accurately.
- Support colleagues in delivering high-quality care aligned with company values.
- Qualifications:
- Right to work in the UK is essential as we do not provide sponsorship.
- Proven experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is preferred to assist with transportation needs.
- Ability to work night shifts reliably.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures related to dementia and mental health support is advantageous.
